Baroli

This temple complex dates back to the 9th century AD., and can be visited on the way to Pratap Sagar Dam. Many sculptures found in the temple complex are now housed in the Govt Museum of Kota.

Rana Pratap Sagar Dam

Bhainsrodgarh Fort is built alongside the Chambal River. Many tourists stop by at the ancient temple of Gaipar Nath Mahadev on the way.

Jhalawar

87 km away from Kota, this place is famous for a palace and a small museum. It is also host to a cattle fair every year. 10 km away from Jhalawar, nestling in splendid solitude, is the fortress of Gagron.

Sita Bari

The ancient temple here is the devoted to Sita and Laxman and a tribal fair is held in May/June.

Bundi

BRanakpurundi is home to famous Taragarh Fort, which was built as far as back as 1354.

Ranakpur

The beautifully sculptured Jain temples lies in a tranquil valley of Aravalis. The main temple is dedicated to Tirthankara Adinath and has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars. Two Jain temples dedicated to Neminath and Parsvanath and a Sun Temple a little distance away, are also noteworthy.

Jaisamand LakeJaisamand Lake

Jaisamand Lake built in 17 th century by Maharana Jai Singh is the second largest in asia. Graceful Marble chattris flank the embankment and beautiful summer places of the Udaipur queens are built on the either side of the lake.
