Bhandasar Jain Temple

The 16th century Jain temple of the 23rd tirthankar, Parasvanath, is the most important of the complex. Other include the Chintamani Temple of 1505 and the Adinath Temple. There is a fine view of the city wall and surrounding countryside from the park behind the temple. These were built by two brothers and the temples carry their names. The mirror work and the golden leaf paintings in the temple are noteworthy. 

Devi Kund Devi Kund

Its 8 km away from Bikaner. A royal crematorium with several ornamented cenotaphs  built in the memory of Bika dynasty rulers. Maharaja surat singh Chhatri is the most impressive of all, created entirely in white marble with spectacular Rajput painting on the ceiling. 

Camel Research Farm

It is 10 kms away from the city and probably the only one of its kind in Asia and managed by the government.

Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary

The lake and forested hills of this reserve, 32km from Bikaner on the Jaisalmer road, are inhabited by wildfowl and a number of deer and antelope. Imperial sand grouse migrate here in winter. Gajner Palace Hotel is the erstwhile royal summer palace and is ideally situated on the banks of a lake. It’s an impressive building made of red sandstone and is set in serene surroundings. Facilities include a restaurant, swimming pool and billiard room. Horse/jeep safaris can also be arranged.

Shiv Bari Temple

Built by doongar singhji in the late 19 th century. The temple is surrounded by an embattlement wall. It has beautiful painting and a bronze Nandi facing the Shiva Lingam.

Kolayat ji

A famous pilgrimage spot with a temple dedicated to Kapil Muni. The temple is the venue for an annual fair held in the month of Kartik when thousand of devotees gather in large number to take a sacred dip in the holy waters of the lake on the full moon day. The small oasis town is now an idyllic picnic spot.

Kalibangan 

One of the major excavation sites of the Harappan civilisation. This place houses emence treasure of our past and is of particular interest to archaeology enthusiasts.
