PushkarPushkar Lake

Pushkar is just 11 km away from the ajmer. The road to Pushkar passes through the Nag Pahar . Pushkar is an ancient city.the city is considered by hindus to be one of the most sacred places in India. Pushkar is famous for its picturesque sites as well as more than 400 temples. The most famous temples is the 'Brahma Temple' . Other important temple are Savitri Temple, Mahadeva Temple an dmany more. Pushkar fair is famous for its high range of handicrafts. This fair is famous as a Bazaar for the animals particularly the Camels. But the folk dancers and the folk musicians add traditional colour in the fair, which gives a new leash of life to the town. And Pushkar lake is the site to take holy bath on Kartik Purnima.

Foy Sagar

Situated at a distance of five km from Ajmer, it was engineered by an Englishman, Mr. Foy. It is an artificial lake built as a famine relief project.

Mangliyawas

This town is famous for two 800 years old trees of a rare species- Adansonia Digitata Linn- popularly known as 'Kalpa-Vrikhsha'. People visit this place through out the year but on dark moon day of 'sravana' thousands of people come to worship the trees. The town is 26 Kms from Ajmer.

Beawar

This town is located 54 Kms from Ajmer and is famous for the Badshahi procession festival held on the next day of Holi. On this occasion people participate in large number and throw gulal (colour) on each other.

Kishangarh

Kishangarh was a princely state ruled by the Rathores and located on National Highway 8. Apart from its fort, the Kishangarh is known for the miniature paintings style known as Kishangarh Art. Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), now converted into a hotel is the main attraction inside the fort. Kishangarh is also known its rich storehouse of marbles.

Man Mahal

Along the banks of the Pushkar Lake is the former residence of Raja Man Singh of Amer, Man Mahal. Presently it is converted to RTDC Sarover Tourist Bungalow ensuring convenient accommodation to travellers.
